Founder & Principal Designer
David Gilbert founded Stonevale Interiors with a belief that the most compelling homes evolve from a close understanding of architecture, materials, and the way people live.
A graduate of the New York School of Interior Design, David brings together formal design training, an appreciation for restoration and craftsmanship, and an instinct for interiors that feel collected over time rather than newly decorated. His work balances old and new, refinement and ease, with particular attention to proportion, natural materials, art, and objects with history.
Based in the Berkshires, David works with clients throughout New England, the Hudson Valley, and Greater New York City.
